Open the official listing
Use the official Mozilla Add-ons page for IDU+. Avoid reposted packages, mirror downloads, or copied extension archives.

Install the official IDU+ Firefox add-on, then refresh the IDU portal to enable the cleaner interface, themes, and layout tools.
Installation steps
Add the extension
Click Add to Firefox, review the permissions prompt, and confirm the installation from Firefox's native dialog.
Pin IDU+
Open the extensions menu and pin IDU+ to the toolbar so its settings stay easy to reach later.
Refresh the portal
Open or refresh the IDU portal. IDU+ should apply its interface layer after the page finishes loading.
Configure appearance
Open the IDU+ popup and choose your theme, accent color, title font, and preferred portal layout.
After installation
Customize IDU+ appearance
Open Appearance settings
Open an IDU portal page, then click the pinned IDU+ icon in your browser toolbar. If the icon is hidden, open the browser's Extensions menu and select IDU+.
Theme
Switch between Light and Dark mode for the entire portal.
Layout
Portal keeps the classic IDU+ flow. Sidebar creates a modern app shell with collapsible navigation.
Title Font
Choose Aligra, Inter, Audex, or Otfits for headings across IDU+.
Accent
Choose IDU blue, Sea teal, Soft violet, Rose, Amber, or Moss—or enter a custom hex color.
Topbar
Choose IDU navy, Graphite, Steel blue, Deep green, Aubergine, Walnut, or a custom hex value.
Changes save automatically and apply to the open IDU tab. The Saved badge confirms storage. Use Reset to restore Light, Portal, Aligra, IDU blue, and IDU navy.
